About
Bio
A contemporary American painter currently working in Atlanta, Georgia, Bill has always had his eye on visual story telling in a variety of mediums. He has expressed this interest via the graphic arts, theatrical production & set design, editorial illustration, drawing, and painting. Currently immersed in abstraction and exploring large format oil painting as a way to convey his dynamic and expressionist visual poetry, his image making process seeks the intersection of emotion, light, and memory. Brilliant color, superior gestural mark making and brush work are hallmarks of Bill's practice as he strives to give the viewer's imagination an opportunity to be uplifted without words or literal interpretation.
